Copper finish options are paired with clear glass panels. Copper is a living metal that will change and patina gradually to a rich, dark color over time. Made to order so your home can boast a truly unique outdoor light fixture. COASTAL WARNING: Please note that in a coastal environment copper can be corroded by salt. Fixtures must be rinsed regularly to remove the naturally occurring salt accumulation. Fixtures that directly face ocean winds are particularly susceptible to corrosion and are not recommended in these instances. In an effort to help delay the inevitable effects of a maritime environment, we now offer Antique Copper with a clear coat applied to the fixture during the finishing process. The clear coat will not prevent, but help slow down, the patina process and damage that may be done to copper finishes in salt air environments.
