The mansard style design of this lantern post light adds interest and an architectural element to outdoor lighting. Our local artisans apply an aged blackened finish on the copper, producing a gunmetal patina. Clear glass panels. Handcrafted in Richmond, Virginia by our local artisans. Copper is a living metal that will change and patina gradually to a rich, dark color over time. 3.25" post opening. WARNING: Please note that in coastal environments copper can be corroded by salt, so fixtures must be regularly rinsed to remove the naturally occurring salt accumulation in coastal areas. Fixtures that directly face ocean winds are particularly susceptible to corrosion and are not recommended in these instances.
